The Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) run special film events at Palace Barracks once a month, for Brisbane audiences.
This month on Wednesday, the 23rd of May at 5:30-6:30, AACTA are hosting a curated cinema event Australians at the Oscars: Animated Shorts which will see a collection of Short Animated films from Australians shown, all of which have been nominated for or won an Academy Award. This will be followed by an interview with recent Oscar nominee and Queensland local filmmaker Lachlan Pendragon.
